Kulak Island (also referred to as Kulak Isle[1]) is an island off the south-east coast of Allansia, between the Bay of Kulak and the isles Solani and Jitar, from which it is separated by the Strait of Knives.
The only known settlement in this out-of-the-way part of Allansia is Merluk.[2] Tribes of Barbarian Humans live on Kulak Island.[1][3] These Barbarians use a special herbal ointment called Green Cream to repel insects.[3] During the reign of Lady Carolina, the people of Kallamehr believed that the Barbarians from Kulak Isle were advancing on their city-state from the east.[1]
It is possible that the "strange, rough-skinned" barbarians who gave The Magehunter assistance were Kulak Island barbarians. [4]
