Arran Gottspeed is a pregenerated character whom the player can assume in Deathtrap Dungeon (book), Trial of Champions (book) and Armies of Death (book).
Description[]
Arran Gottspeed likes to charge in battle rotating his sword above his head with great strength and speed and can usually absorb quite easily any lucky blow that can pass his flurry of swings. He was born many moons ago in Fang and he's an hero for the locals.
His mum is a tiny lady working as a tailor and it is unknown how such a small lady gave birth to such an enormous warrior. The most common theory about this is that some of his ancestors passed on to him the blood of giants.
He carries with him a Potion of Strength and 6 Meals.

- The fact that this single pregenerated character is present in all the three mentioned gamebooks is therefore the clear in canon indication that the three adventures are meant to be sequels of each other to be played by the same character.
