Baldamand was a dwarf city in the province of Grundia, in Amarillia.
Description[]
It was located on the shores of the Geld river, and at the southern end of the Stonewalk.[1]
The Tower of the Smith was a considerably huge building,and the highest of the city [2]. Dwarfish legends said that Duradan set his feet upon Amarillia in Baldamand, and that the paving stones of the streets of the city were branded by the footprints of the World-Smith [2].
The city was fortified, and the ship access of the harbour was protected by gates. The city walls may have supported catapults.[3]
