Beggars of Blacksand was a fan written Fighting Fantasy adventure by Al Sander. It was first published online in ????.


You awake, screaming. You look around in a panic. Everything is in order. Everything is in place. You slowly calm down and consider your situation. You are an unnamed beggar of the infamous Port Blacksand. You know nothing of your past except for a vague belief, fuelled by terrible dreams, that you were once someone important, someone powerful.[1]


The adventure in general follows the original rules set down in The Warlock of Firetop Mountain (see Game System).

Unique RulesEdit

  • The player must keep track of what time it is, the adventure covering a span of three days (Stormsday, Moonsday and Fireday).
  • In the "Background" the player is instructed to modify their stats scores to reflect their current state.
