Bellisaria was a small principality on the northern edge of the Plain of Bronze in Allansia around 1600 OT.
History[]
King Salamon IX of Salamonis once fought against a military force mounted on elephants from the province of Bellisaria. Since Allansia described Bellisaria as "a rebellious province", this means Salamonis had some form of authority over Bellisaria prior to the conflict.[1]
For a long time, scholars on Titan did not known whether Bellisaria still existed, or whether it had disappeared into the mists of time, leaving crumbling ruins behind it.[2] It was recently learned that the adventurer Lady Illythin of the Steppes comes from the "war-ravaged province of old Bellisaria" in Allansia (implying Bellisaria still exists in contemporary Allansia).[3]
Little else is known of the land of Bellisaria, although the following tale of a magical elven sword appears in Titan - The Fighting Fantasy World:
“ One such weapon was the legendary Sword of Jeren, originally given as gift by the Elven peoples to Prince Gethel Aranang who ruled over a small land known as Bellisaria... around the year 1600 OT. Prince Aranang had earned the gift by helping the local Elves in cleansing a Dark Elf settlement from a network of deep caves in the hills on the edges of his lands.[2] ”
