Chingiz was Segrek's Vizier who attempted to seize the reins of power of Kazan for himself.

Upon the death of Segrek, Chingiz at first suppressed the news and made ready an army of his own, including Necromancers, Trolls and Mamlik assassins. This army wore the Panther livery for which Chingiz was known. The news of Segrek's demise eventually leaked, however, and Mamlik assassins were sent out to kill all Select before they could undertake journey to Throne. His daughter was Meghan-na-Durr.
