The cover of the Fighting Fantasy Gamebox

The Fighting Fantasy Gamebox was one of the early examples of the Fighting Fantasy Boxsets launched as Christmas promotions.

ContentsEdit

ReleaseEdit

From the contents of the gamebox we can surmise that it was brought out at the end of 1983, with all three books that it contains being the Coloured Number Format covers, and most importantly being published in 1983. Different impressions of the constituent books have been reported to have been used in the make up of the boxset.[1]

PriceEdit

One set has all constituent books having the cost of £1.25 each, whilst in another they all had individual tags of £1.50.[1] As to the price of the whole boxset this was dependent on a price sticker with one report being £4.20 "inc. Box".
