Nightgaunts were a type of demon, often used as guards.
Description[]
Nightgaunts possessed blank featureless faces, and in combat would fight with their claws. Their skin was dark black and smooth, and they would wear cloaks amd cowls typically.
Despite having no mouth a nightgaunt could scream for help if need be, just as they possessed good hearing despite lacking ears.
They would usually be summoned by people requiring guards, and would almost always come in pairs or small packs.

Nightgaunts are like a reference to the nightgaunts of H.P Lovecraft, who were similarly described as faceless.
