Star appears as a beautiful female Elf and is met by Chadda Darkmane and Yaztromo on the way to Hellsgate during their quest to destroy Cawlis and guarantee ultimate death to Axion. She is called Star due to a star-shaped birthmark on her forehead.

During the adventure, Chadda falls in love with her, although without fully confessing it even to himself.

At the end of the adventure, before being killed by Cawlis, she reveals that in reality she was a Shapechanger in the form of an Elf.
