Gutterlags are Hyaena-like scavengers which live in the suburbs of a number of north-east Khulian towns and cities.

They come down into the cities and towns at night to forage among the sewers for scraps of meat. Individually they like their meat cold and putrid but in a pack they will attack live meat.
