The Haggwort are bizarre pumpkin-headed creatures, resembling scarecrows.
They are described as "ancient" and were seen besetting the town of Hustings in Gallantaria at the same time the Shadow Warriors were attempting to resurrect their master, Voivod. Little information is provided on them, only that they are "formed by the earth and roused by the growing corruption of the land".[1] Urtha, a Wamphyr also disgorged from the earth, commanded the Haggwort attacking Hustings by means of an iron wristband.
In combat the Haggwort proved to be surprisingly skilful, but physically fragile as even small cuts to their head would disrupt the magic sustaining them.
