Hero of Temple of Terror

Although the article below is based on canon, some of its content is considered extrapolation because it assumes a certain course of events through an adventure that has many possible routes. Finally, the use of "Hero" and other male- gender expressions pertaining to the subject in the article and/or title of the article is not intended to exclude the possibility that the hero was female.

The Hero of Temple of Terror was recuperating in Stonebridge following a recent quest when Yaztromo arrived to seek an adventurer to travel to the lost city of Vatos and defeat Malbordus by finding five Dragon artefacts before the evil wizard.

Yaztromo taught the hero four magic spells before he or she set out. After defeating Malbordus and destroying the Dragon artefacts with Gillibran's magic Warhammer, the hero intended to journey back to Stonebridge to return the Warhammer and then continue on to Yaztromo's Tower to learn more magic.

It is possible that the hero also took part in other books previously, but since he or she ended the book as a magic user, no other books in the main series can follow this one with the same hero.
