Hobgoblins are possibly the result of Goblin and Orc interbreeding (or some say Men and Goblins) as they appear to be like large Goblins. They are not afraid of sunlight unlike their Goblin cousins with whom they might be living. They are as tall as men and revel in the death of others, especially Elves. They can sometimes be found in their own settlements. Their discipline makes them good commanders but they will attack Elves on sight with no thought for commands.
