The House of Pain is a strange enterprise which is doing a roaring trade in Port Blacksand.

They offer a service whereby they will visit a house of your choosing and inflict varying degrees of embarrassment and pain to the household. It is a favourite joke of Port Blacksand's wealthy to play on friends. The House of Pain is not affiliated to the Thieves' Guild who are concerned at its activities. It is located in the Temple Distrcit between Dagger Lane and Scimitar Square.
