Jamie Thomson is the author of several "choose-your-own-adventure" type gamebooks.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

The author was born in Iran, but grew up in Brighton where he met Mark Smith at school there. Thomson graduated from Kent University with a degree in politics and government. He cites his gaming career as having begun with original Dungeons & Dragons in 1976.[1]

Career[]

Thomson was an Assistant Editor of White Dwarf magazine, and a contributor to Warlock magazine.

Thompson started the company Black Cactus, creating the game Warrior Kings.
