Halflings (also known as Hobbits; the species was also known as the Little People or Light Worshippers) were a short race of humanoids. [2][3][4]

Description[]

Halflings were quite small, with blond, brown or black hair upon heads, hands and feet. They often went barefoot by choice.

If forced to fight, halflings used weapons such as a spear or sling.

Halflings often came into conflict with creatures such as gremlins or troglodytes over territory.

Origins and Distribution[]

Halflings were related distantly to woodlings. They loved food and decorating their homes. Some of them would become adventurers and join other heroes on quests to serve as a scout or thief; [2] Billybob who was encountered in Baron Sukumvit Charavask's dungeon was one such individual.[5] [2] An adventuring halfling would usually carry a short sword and small shield, and wear a leather cuirass.[4]

Halflings could be found across Allansia, the Old World and Khul. They usually lived in villages made out of holes dug into the sides of hills. [4]

They could also be found in large cities such as Royal Lendle, Chalannabrad, Salamonis and Ximoran.[4][6][7][8]

A group of halflings lived in Hever Castle in Eastern Khul.[9]
