Mount Martu-Amurru is a giant forest covered peak, towering over the small fishing town of Kirkuk on the western coast of the Inland Sea.[1]

Further Notes[]

  • Like a number of others names from the lands of the Inland Sea, Martu-Amurru is based on a name from ancient Mesopotamia - in this case the god Amurru (also called Martu).
