The Necrotic Wilderness of Q'yann is a netherworld known and used by necromancers for their own ends.[1] It has been revealed that the Necrotic Wilderness is located on the The Demonic Plane of Ichor. [2]

Description[]

The Wilderness is described as meaning "different things to different beings". [1][3] It is a particularly harsh place, capable and even likely of driving the unprepared mind completely insane upon merely seeing it, let alone moving through it.[1]

Whatever inhabitants and energies it may possess are almost unknown. It is believed to have originally been the home of a Demon Prince named Rivel, now imprisoned on Titan.[2][3] The current ruler of the Necrotic Wilderness is Morpheus, the servant of Ishtra, who has turned the place into a "dream realm of eternal nightmares".[2][3][4] One of the few humans to travel to the Necrotic Wilderness and return, safe and sane, to Titan has described the Wilderness. He claimed the plane is a night-time region home to mysterious flowers, trees whose shape is "all wrong", and a large yellow moon that "that seemed to have a sardonically winking face."[2] The only other surety about this region is that Mawn Pretagorus, a necromancer who dwelt in Blackhaven, had an open portal to it in his home, and whilst there was able to create a Hand of Glory from the potential held within the wooden hand of a convicted criminal. [1][2]

Notes[]

The Wilderness was described in the book Vade Mecum Infernum by the mystic Aughm Lightchaser.[3]
