Plague Zombies are a type of Undead monster in the Fighting Fantasy franchise. They are a variation of the more common Zombie.

Origins and Distribution

Plague Zombies are a variation of the more common Zombie. They are more dangerous than their common counterparts, however, as they have been infused with dark powers making them harborers and transmitters of various fell diseases.

Description

Plague Zombies look on first sight like their more common "cousins": shambling, rotting corpses, usually human ones. However, depending upon the nature of the plague they carry, their bodies might sport phyiscal symptoms synonymous with these diseases, like plague boils and sores and such.

Special Abilities

Plague Zombies have the standard abilities of their Undead nature. The diseases carried by Plague Zombies usually raises their victim after death as Plague Zombies, though there are also exceptions to the norm; for instance, these creatures could carry the more standard types of plague instead. One touch is enough to infect a victim, but it depends on the nature of the disease as to exactly how it will affect its target.
