Quagrants were a strange breed of aberrant creatures.
Description[]
Quagrants enjoyed lurking in dark waters, having a single, luminous eye and a gaping black maw from which came ghastly sucking noises. The sucking could generate water currents so strong that even the strongest heroes would struggle to stand. [1]
In combat, a quagrant would drag its prey within to its maw and strip their flesh away by sucking. Some people were able to combat this by using an irritant such as dust, causing it to cough and leave off from its attack.
Origins and Distribution[]
Quagrants were horrors bred by only the most loathsome and warped sorcerers within places such as the city-states of the Glimmering Sea, typically for disposing of prisoners.[2]
