Sixth impression (1987)Edit

I have a sixth impression from 1987 (apparently), with no number on the cover. However a sticker covers the original price, which has been changed to £3.50. Unfortunately the sticker seems to be stuck fast so I cannot remove it! best, Sunil060902 10:37, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

Or does it say:

First published 1987
7 9 10 8 6

In which case it was printed later. This is more likely given the no-number-on-cover editions didn't begin till the start of 1989. If it has a number on the spine then it comes from late 1989. Check out the database for more info here.Gallicus 22:46, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

It is 5 7 9 10 8 6, but it has a no. on the spine, so it must be late 1989 - would it have been £3.50 though? best, Sunil060902 00:13, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
No. It would have been £2.50. The books increased in price to £3.50 in 1991, which would have been about when the price sticker was stuck on the back.Gallicus 23:50, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
