The Bristling Boar is the only inn in Wendeford in Ruddlestone.
"The bar is dark and musty but the clientel seem friendly enough",[1] and the landlady enjoys a good gossip.[2]
The inn is named after a monstrous Wild Boar which lived in the Forest of Lein and terrorised the nearby hamlets and farmsteads.[3]
