The Tasks of Tantalon is a PuzzleQuest Book written by Steve Jackson (UK), illustrated by Steven Lavis and originally published in 1985 as a hardback (ISBN 0-19-279792-1) by Oxford University Press. It was reprinted by Puffin Books in 1986 as a softcover (ISBN 0-14-031969-7) as part of their Fantasy Questbook range. There are currently no announced plans to republish this book on the part of Puffin or Wizard Books.

"The Solution" PamphletEdit
A pamphlet was produced that provided the solution to the book. The pamphlet had a red cover, with the same design as the main book, but with the words, "The Solution!" printed in the centre. The publish details are unknown at this time although an image is available at the here at Fighting Fantasy Collector.
