A Toadman was a race of humanoid creature with a toad's head, bulbous eyes and warty skin.[1]
Description[]
They had powerful legs and webbed feet, and gigantic mouths, through which they speak human languages, though they preferred to communicate with each other via croaks. In their swamps, they cultivated and guarded the various plants and herbs found within with some ferocity and secret sinkholes, with their favoured weapon being the trident.[2]
Intruding upon their gardens was punished with death, either by them attacking the intruder en masse or by having it fall victim to their traps.
Origins and Distribution[]
The kreehul were thought to be distant relations of theirs.
Toadmen inhabited marshy areas of Allansia, such as the Bu Fon Fen beside the Deedlewater river.[3]
