The nature and location of Ventarc are not known, but we can assume that it was a citadel, fortress or city somewhere in the northern Old World, perhaps in Brice.

As the champion Templar Knight the hero is offered a choice of weaponry from the citadel's armoury to aid in the dangerous mission to thwart Belgaroth and his Knights of Chaos. One of these is the Helmet of Ventarc, which is "surmounted by a polished eagle with wings outstretched at its crest. It was taken at the sacking of Ventarc during the Second Ruddlestone War, in 1805OT, and yet time has not tarnished it."^[1]
